Beginning in spring 2017, AQFF will travel the state for special film screenings to address topics of community concern around West Virginia (Hang in there, non-WV folks! We’ll get there soon!). These screenings and accompanying talkbacks allow us to better fulfill our mission of warming hearts and opening minds inside and outside of Appalachia, while also making sure that as many people as possible can afford to partake in these discussions. We will continue to hold our full festival in Lewisburg each fall.

Our inaugural #AQFFontheRoad event will be in Morgantown, West Virginia on April 29 with an after party at VICE VERSA. We’ll be screening the short film Bayard & Me by Matt Wolf and the feature Discreet by Travis Mathews. Travis will be on site to participate in a panel discussion after the screening. In order to continue to produce high quality film screenings that open conversations that matter around Appalachia, we need your help! Visit our donate page to find out how you can keep AQFF alive and well in the mountains.
